Score Tally
Privacy Policy
Score Tally keeps score of card and board games. In short: we don't collect any of your data.
Information the app handles
To work, the app stores the information you enter:
- Players: name, color and, optionally, a photo you pick from your library.
- Games: players, rounds, scores and results.
- Settings: for example card values or how many cards are dealt.
Where it is stored
- On your device.
- If iCloud is turned on, in your private iCloud database (CloudKit), so it syncs across your devices. That database belongs to your Apple Account: the developer cannot see or access its contents. It is governed by Apple's privacy policy.
App settings are stored only on the device and are not synced.
What we don't do
- We don't collect or send your data to any server, ours or anyone else's.
- We don't use analytics, advertising or tracking.
- We don't sell or share information with anyone.
The app only accesses the photos you choose with the system picker. It has no access to the rest of your library.
The app includes the open-source library Lottie only to display animations. Lottie doesn't collect or send data.
Deleting your data
- Delete players and games from within the app.
- Deleting the app removes the local copy.
- To delete the iCloud copy: Settings → [your name] → iCloud → Manage Storage → Score Tally.
Children
The app doesn't collect data, so it doesn't collect data from children either.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we will publish the new version on this page with its effective date.
